Normalized Gas Log window can be created using menu File – New – Normalized Gas Log. Same as other application windows, it can be stored and restored from a file.
Left side chart includes Rate Of Penetration and Pump Output plots versus depth.
Right side chart presents gas logs along with calculated Normalized Gas plot.
Normalized Gas is the Total Gas recalculated for gas-in-mud content and normalized for rate of penetration, pump output and hole diameter.
