WellDaq is MS Windows application for well drilling data acquisition by a mud-logging service. It works together with universal measurement PCB cards which convert sensors electric signals into digital values in real time.
Measurement data are calibrated, converted to engineering values, displayed, logged to hard disk and transmitted to local and remote workstations over computer network.
WellDaq program utilizes DataSocket network protocol from National Instrument Corporation. Data is sent periodically to DataSocket server, which runs on the same computer but is available to local network clients using a specific URL address.
WellDaq is also compatible with several external instruments, like gas chromatograph, hydrocarbon gas detector, external alarm panel, external LED display, remote data acquisition unit.
Main program window serves for diagnostic purposes.
